Description
Emus have powerful three-toed feet and will walk almost constantly when awake. They can cover 10-25km per day, except when they are nesting. Emus are also strong swimmers and are happy to cool down by lying in a stream. They have large eyes capable of seeing large distances and soft,
broad beaks, designed for foraging.
