In the Inlet

$200.00

This black and white is of an egret in the mangroves. Egrets, characterized by long legs and bills, are marsh birds, similar to herons. The white egret is the largest of Australia’s egrets and is often misnamed “white crane”. The cattle egret is a fine flier and in breeding times, its red bill is tipped yellow and there are orange feathers on the underpart of its neck. At other times, it’s white like the white egret.
