Sunburnt Country

$500.00

I was inspired by the poem of Dorothea MacKellar I Love a Sunburnt Country. She mentions the hot gold hush of noon, the sunburnt country, the droughts and flooding rains which are cyclical and the brown land. I am proudly Australian and am richly blessed by the landscape of our nation. I experience the richness my inheritance from the tribes I belong to – Jirrbal, Bar-Barram and Wadjanbarra Yidinji. My family have worked on the land through hardships persevering through their love of the land. We all need to be good stewards of the land in which we live.
